This is how we get punitive and draconian anti-enthusiast legislation at the state level; hooligans who use their automotive related powers !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! I would like each and every one of these guys to get caught, but the reality is a bunch of them will not, and the community will demand tougher legislation from their state-level congress critters to combat the 'scourge' of automotive enthusiasm currently plaguing them.

Unfortunately sideshows are nothing new. They've been around for years in the Bay area. I once watched a documentary (sorry, don't remember the name) that covered life in East Oakland. They had shut down a street for one of these. A uniformed officer in a marked car pulls up, gets surrounded almost immediately by the group of clowns, and in an effort of self preservation, just slowly drives off. A moment or two later, a bystander almost gets hit by one of the cars showing off. It was like a modern day Wild West.
